An evergreen song by the Canadian-Pakistani band ‘JoSH’; this is the title track of their second album ‘Kabhi’ (2004) which also got featured in the music album of the movie ‘My brother..Nikhil’. Created and performed by Quarram ‘Q’ Hussain and Rupinder Magon and the official music video directed by Pierre Alexandre, the song is an absolute joyride which speaks about a string of epiphanic moments and phases of self-discovery. This song always has been one of my favorites, and always cheered me up with its foot-tapping groovy music. But I have just found out that it’s actually most enjoyable when listened (or rather remembered) in solitude, while travelling a lone road or maybe sitting in an empty beach or a deserted ruin, all by myself, among all the vastness, staring at the horizon… It’s in the middle of nothingness and sound of silence maybe, where one can see, hear and understand the clearest.
